Product Safety
Safety First. Results Second.
At Nordic Haven, we use high-performance bio-actives and natural botanical extracts. While our formulas are designed for sensitive skin, nature is potent. Every skin biome is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.
To ensure your experience is safe and positive, please follow our mandatory "1-Drop Protocol" before fully integrating any new product into your routine.
The Mandatory "1-Drop" Patch Test
Before applying any product to your face, you must perform a patch test to check for individual allergies or sensitivities.
- Step 1: Apply 1 drop (or a pea-sized amount) of the product to the inside of your wrist or behind your ear.
- Step 2: Do not wash the area. Wait 24 hours.
-
Step 3: Check the area.
- No reaction? You are safe to use the product.
- Redness, itching, or burning? Wash immediately and do not use the product.
Nordic Haven is not responsible for individual allergic reactions. By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the ingredient list and agree to perform this patch test.

Not Medical Advice
The content on this website and the advice given by Nordic Haven is for informational purposes only. Our products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease (including medical skin conditions like severe eczema or psoriasis).
Natural Variations
Because we use natural ingredients (like cold-pressed oils and plant extracts), slight variations in color or scent may occur between batches. This is a sign of purity, not a defect.
Reaction Policy
If you experience a severe reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. We cannot accept returns of opened products due to hygiene laws, even in the event of an allergic reaction, as we cannot verify if the product was used correctly or if the patch test was performed.
A Note on "Purging" vs. Reaction
Active Ingredients (Retinol/Bakuchiol/Acids):
Some high-performance products (like The Midnight Reset) increase cell turnover. It is normal to experience slight tingling or a few "purge" breakouts in the first week. This is not an allergic reaction; it is the skin clearing itself. However, if you experience burning or persistent redness, stop immediately.
